Agreement to these terms

By accessing, downloading, creating an account, or using Courtship, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Courtship.

Courtship is intended for personal dating use by adults. It is not a background-check service, emergency service, investigation service, or guarantee of offline safety.

Additional terms for iOS users

If you download Courtship through the Apple App Store, your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, commonly called the Apple Standard EULA, unless Courtship provides a separate custom EULA through Apple.

For the iOS app, Courtship is licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these terms, PT CIPTA SINAPSIS PERSONA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Courtship on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules.

PT CIPTA SINAPSIS PERSONA, not Apple, is responsible for Courtship and its content, maintenance, and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Courtship. If the iOS app fails to conform to any applicable warranty that has not been disclaimed, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Courtship.

Apple is not responsible for claims relating to Courtship, including product-liability claims, legal-compliance claims, consumer-protection claims, intellectual-property claims, or claims arising from your use of Courtship. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms for the iOS app and may enforce these terms against you.

If these terms conflict with Apple-required terms for iOS distribution, Apple's required terms control only to the extent of that conflict.

Who may use Courtship

To use Courtship, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.
• Provide accurate information about yourself.
• Be single and actually available to date.
• Use Courtship primarily in Indonesia or in connection with Courtship's Indonesia-based service.
• Use Courtship for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your account and profile

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account, profile, photos, prompts, preferences, and communications. You may not create a fake profile, impersonate another person, misrepresent your age, relationship status, identity, or availability, or use another person's photos without permission.

You are responsible for keeping your device and account access secure. Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Community rules

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, shame, or discriminate against another person.
• Sexually harass, coerce, stalk, blackmail, dox, extort, or threaten another person.
• Send spam, scams, romance scams, money requests, solicitations, or commercial messages.
• Post illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, or non-consensual content, including non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Engage in catfishing, impersonation, trafficking, exploitation, ban evasion, or off-platform manipulation.
• Collect, publish, sell, or misuse another user's personal information.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to compromise Courtship.
• Use bots, fake engagement, deceptive automation, or AI-generated deception.

Dating and availability rules

Courtship is for people who are actually available. By using Courtship, you affirm that you are not married, engaged, separated but unavailable, or in an exclusive or committed relationship. If your relationship status changes, you must promptly deactivate your account, update your status if the app supports it, or stop using Courtship.

If we have reason to doubt your relationship status, identity, profile authenticity, safety, or compliance with these terms, we may pause, review, restrict, or remove your account.

License to use Courtship

Subject to your compliance with these terms, Courtship grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the service. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, attempt to derive source code from, or create derivative works from Courtship except as permitted by law.

Your content

You own the content you submit to Courtship, such as profile text, photos, prompts, and messages. By submitting content, you grant Courtship a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, process, transmit, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and provide the service.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law or another person's rights.

If you believe content on Courtship infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, image, personality, or other rights, contact us at hello@courtship.id.

Reports, blocking, and moderation

Courtship may provide tools to report profiles, messages, photos, prompts, or behavior, and to block users. We may review relevant profile data, message data, verification data, device/account signals, and interaction history to investigate reports, enforce these terms, and protect users.

We may review, remove, restrict, suspend, or terminate content or accounts if we believe it is necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with law, prevent abuse, or preserve the quality and trust of Courtship.

You may contact us to ask for review of an account decision, unless review would be unsafe, legally restricted, or inconsistent with protecting another user.

Verification and background checks

Courtship may use application review, profile review, photo review, liveness checks, face comparison, and other authenticity signals. These measures are intended to improve trust and reduce fake profiles.

Courtship does not conduct or guarantee criminal, marital, financial, employment, education, or full identity background checks. Verification does not guarantee a user's identity, intentions, relationship status, character, criminal history, financial condition, or offline safety.

Offline meeting safety

You are responsible for your interactions with other users, online and offline. Use judgment before meeting anyone. Meet in a public place, tell someone you trust where you are going, arrange your own transportation, do not send money, and leave if you feel unsafe.

If you believe there is an emergency, immediate threat, exploitation, violence, or risk of harm, contact local emergency services or the appropriate authorities first.

No guarantee of matches or outcomes

Courtship does not guarantee that you will receive likes, matches, messages, dates, relationships, or any particular result. We also do not guarantee the conduct, compatibility, identity, intentions, availability, safety, or lawfulness of any user.

External services and third-party terms

Courtship may rely on or link to external services, including Apple services, infrastructure providers, authentication, storage, verification, analytics, diagnostics, support channels, maps, websites, mobile networks, and other third-party services. You use external services at your own risk and must comply with their applicable terms.

External services may not be available in every language, country, or location. We may change, suspend, remove, or limit access to external services at any time.

Disclaimers

Courtship is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, moderation accuracy, matching accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PT CIPTA SINAPSIS PERSONA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, emotional distress, service interruption, unauthorized access, failed matches, user conduct, offline interactions, or third-party services.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Legal compliance and emergencies

We may preserve, access, use, or disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or requests from competent authorities; enforce these terms; investigate fraud or abuse; respond to credible threats, self-harm, child safety, exploitation, violence, or emergency situations; or protect the rights, safety, and property of Courtship, users, or others.

Export control and restricted parties

You may not use, export, or re-export Courtship except as permitted by applicable law, including United States export-control laws and the laws of the jurisdiction where Courtship was obtained. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.

U.S. government users

Courtship and related documentation are commercial computer software and commercial computer software documentation. If acquired by or on behalf of the U.S. Government, they are licensed only with the rights granted to all other users under these terms.

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where Apple-required terms apply to the iOS app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions as Courtship changes or as Indonesian legal requirements develop. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated terms, sending an email, showing an in-app notice, or using another appropriate method.
